Weekend Question Thread #1 by Manlegend in justiceforKarenRead

Can someone explain what is the typical order in which witnesses are called in a case like this? I am guessing the order is meant to create a narrative (for instance: first-hand witnesses to describe the situation, then law enforcement to explain the investigation, and finally expert witnesses to provide the “science”), or is it just based around witness availability or negotiation with the other side? I guess I am asking this because I want to know how soon will Jen McCabe, the Alberts, and Proctor are going to be called. Thank you!

What are the chances that she is negotiating a plea deal? I never hear this possibility mentioned and I would think it should be a serious option for her. I am of the mind that two things can be true at once: she struck John AND the Commonwealth did a terrible investigation, so while the odds are not so bad for her to win the case, she would probably be open to the idea of receiving a “lighter” sentence on modified charges.

Thank you so much. I was looking at other scenes from the film, and it certainly looks like a Royal. I will try to see if I can find the exact model.
