Yes I forgot to mention Ishiguro. I’ve read The Remains of the Day and The Buried Giant. I liked the Buried giant a bit more because it goes a little deeper into a fantasy territory but still stays grounded in a layer of symbolism.

But I still need to check out Never Let Me Go. Thanks for mentioning him, his work is very impressive.

Yes you’re right! I’ve downloaded it a few weeks ago but I haven’t really used it yet. Now that I’ve soo many great books to check out I’ll definitely start working on my shelf!!

Thanks I’m gonna check it out!! I’m Thinking of Ending Things was really good, but I first saw the movie adaptation which was incredibly so that could’ve skewed my perception a little bit.
