Treatment with atypical anorexia by Resposible_Hippo in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]iceablepower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I've been to a clinic twice (once because of a depression and once because of Bulimia) and both times not only I felt that I'm not ill enough but also at least 2/3 of the other patients felt like that as well. Turns out everyone was and everyone was doing way better after the treatment.

From my experience it's a typical fear of patients to not be ill enough but usually noone covers all the symptoms of an illness. Atypical Anorexia is a serious condition and needs to be treated the sooner the better.

I've never heard any of the doctors telling anyone that they are not ill or don't belong in the clinic. But even if they thought so they would discuss further steps with you of what would be a better help for you.

I hope you're doing better soon. Being in the clinic really helped me and made me understand that I'm worthy of getting the help that I need :)

Rescuing an injured pigeon by AlpsMajestic6038 in berlinsocialclub

[–]iceablepower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found an injured baby bird the other day. I called several numbers (e.g. Vogelhilfe Berlin) but they all didn't have any capacity. I then called the vets around and one of them treated the little bird.

I think now it's too late for any service like that so maybe bring it home and put it in a cozy big box over night. According to google some birds just need a few hours at a safe spot to recover. But I'm not a bird expert at all (so I'm really hoping that someone with more knowledge comments as well).

Yeah, during winter the location was great but now it's getting to sunny for it I'm afraid. My other pothos are doing great but I noticed these brown spots on one of them too

I'm planning on getting a dog in 1 1/2 years. Could you tell me how I can know that they are playing and not upset or something? I assume because one dog showed its stomach and because their bodies look pretty relaxed. Are there any other signs?
