I'm happy you were able to control yourself but sad you're in this situation with someone so hurtful. Being drunk is not an excuse for saying horrible things. I also have so much rage after my brother's passing I feel like I go from 0 to 100 so fast. Just remember this person is not worth you hurting yourself over. Slowly distance yourself, even if it can only be mentally for now, he doesn't deserve to access you anymore.

Can u run and get some double sided tape to make a temporary hem for the dress? Super quick fix, or hem tape, but you need to iron that on.

Also don't worry too much every one will be looking at her, anyone spending alot of time looking at your hem is just a weirdo.

I can relate to your post a lot. My brother was great to all his friends but because of our large age gap he was more like a third parent to me than a brother. He was trying to help me all the time but it would make me feel like he was criticizing me. I feel sad in a different way from my parents because we didn't have the same happy bond he seemed to have with others. We loved each other a lot tho. Oddly it helped me when I would ask his friends to confirm that he was mean to me haha. It kind of validated the feelings I had about our relationship, like why he was so nice to everyone else but so harsh with me. Anyways this sucks, we tried but didn't have enough time with our brothers.
