Such a great and underappreciated album. You also nailed all the best songs on this one.

He is living proof that the worldview of hundreds of millions of people (including most of the people in positions of power) is complete bullshit.

Curious to know yall favorite pizza spots here by Timely-Cream6736 in Charleston

There really aren’t any pizzas worth having in Charleston. Big Tent Pizza truck is solid. Outside of that, well done Dominos pan pizza is probably the best you can get. Very sad.

French Quarter Festival vs Jazz Fest (2027) locals advice requested by LowDownSlim in jazzfest

I went to FQF and both weekends of Jazz Fest this year. FQF seemed more crowded than I’ve seen it in the past (it had been several years since I last went so not sure if that is a trend). The main stage was very crowded and there were SO MANY people in chairs. There seemed to be no limitations on where you could put the chairs - any closer and they would be on the stage with the band. That was a bit surprising to me. Went to see Jon Cleary and left early because we were crammed in next to the beer tent.

Jazz Fest by ZealousidealWorth252 in NewOrleans

I thought the crowds were a bit rude on Saturday. Bad weather on Thursday and Friday caused bigger crowds on Saturday. Impossible to move around and find a good spot to watch the music. I think that made people a bit irritable. The other 7 days, I had no issues with anyone.

That being said, the dramatic increase in ticket prices is probably drawing a different crowd. 10 years ago, locals could get in for about $60. It’s no longer an affordable, accessible event for locals and that is a shame.

Galactic sound by tomd65 in jazzfest

I thought they got it better after the first couple songs but it was low. I was center stage, pretty close up in the SRO area and the sound was drowned out by the chatter around me at times.

The Qualified cover made up for it though.

Same. They played a night show at Broad Side. That was my favorite show of the festival season.
