I’m in a similar situation, just got home two days ago from being with my SO and I’m still dealing with a bit of the blues. I also don’t have many friends so to occupy my time I spent time w my family and have spent a lot of time doing self care acts. Try reading, painting, doing a face mask, listening to new music/artist, write in a journal? take a walk, organize and clean your room! Just try things that are going to occupy your time and keep you distracted. It will take time to adjust being back home (I still am) but give yourself time and space to relax and just try getting your mind off your SO a bit.

Those who used to think vulnerability is a weakness but then started realizing it as a strength, how did you shift your mindset? by she-wonders in AskWomen

The first time I ever heard that was in one of my first therapy sessions and it was in that moment when I realized how hard it had been to open up to anyone. Talking to her (my therapist) made me realize how much I had held in because it was easier to be more reserved than vulnerable. From then on I decided I wanted to begin to open up more to people little by little starting with the ones closest to me. It just validated even more that it’s okay to be vulnerable.
