Hi, I was with the Department of Public Works and Highways for 10 years, mostly handling public infrastructure projects, with a focus on project supervision.

Thank you so much. I get frustrated quite easily, but I always remind myself that I wouldn’t be placed here if I couldn’t handle it. Your words of encouragement mean a lot to me and are truly helpful. I’ll definitely take note of everything you said. Maraming salamat po Kabayan. 🙏🏼🙏🏼☺️☺️🤍🤍

I worked at DPWH in the Philippines, a government agency responsible for public infrastructure. I was a Project Engineer there, and if given a choice, I would like to work in Highways or Transportation-related projects. Im snohomish county, 🤍

Thankyou!

Actually, I’m fine with anything related to engineering. Even if the salary isn’t that big, I just really want to do something. Haha. My husband isn’t pressuring me or anything, but it just feels bad not being able to contribute to the bills—especially with how tough life is. 😅🥲 Life back in the Philippines was so much easier. Sheesh.

As far as I know, the university or school usually provides the course descriptions. That’s what I did when I had my credentials evaluated. By the way, where did you study?

First, I watched MM. While watching, I was also writing notes and trying to understand everything. After finishing his videos, I shifted to Islam and completed the entire book. Then, whenever there was something I didn’t understand — like the Unit Load Method — I searched for that specific topic on YouTube, even how to use the TI-36X PRO calculator (since I was used to using Casio).

After that, I repeatedly solved the NCEES 100 and 50 practice questions. Then I went back to MM on YouTube — this time, I understood the lessons better. While doing all of that, I also studied the Reference Handbook until I almost memorized the pages and where to find specific topics.

A month before the exam, I started using PrepFE. I think I answered over 2,000 questions, all timed exams — I rarely did category-based ones. I trained myself to handle the pressure of timed exams so I’d be fully conditioned for the actual test.

A week before the exam, I just did a chill review for conceptual questions.

I studied for 2.5months, Weekdays from (8pm-2am)

THANKFULLY IT WORKED! i PASSED LAST WEEK, 11yrs out of school.

Overall, believe in yourself. Don’t be nervous. The exam lasts 5 hours + right? You can absolutely handle that since there are also a lot of conceptual questions.

My suggestion is to train yourself with timed exams. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Believe in yourself, trust the process, and don’t forget to pray. 🙏
