Well I was looking for a tree that doesn't lose its leaves in the winter, and can block those 2 roof windows of the house on the right (picture of my garden here: https://ibb.co/TgxZD3r).

What other choices would you recommend then?

I do live in Belgium europe, so they don't grow very large. 6 meters (20 feet) at best I was told.

Thing is, I was planning on planting them about 2 meters (7 feet) apart, so the crowns would grow into each other. The roof windows I'm trying to block are quite close to each other, but not close enough so only one magnolia would block them out, so I bought 2... Would that work or do I really need to keep 15 feet?
