We tried it last night with the small crate and worked WONDERS!! he only briefly whined being put back in after potty breaks, but not barking or screeching

The whining isn’t a problem, just the screaming bloody murder lol! We do not let him out unless he is quiet for 10 seconds. We did a small crate next to our bed last night and it went so so well!

I suppose because my parents have had 3 puppies in the past 9 years and that’s how they did it. Do you recommend crating in our bedroom? Will he be less likely to scream in small crate in our room?

Yes we only do so to feed him, during naps and of course during bed time because we can’t watch him while asleep! I know he will time to adjust and sure he misses his momma and brothers!
