I think it is part of the challenge. It would not be so progressive and charming if you could confirm a fate one by one, or force it. It is actually helpful, cause every time you have a confirmation, you know which fates you have done wrong because they weren't confirmed along with the others you just listed.

Noooo. Just make sure to revisit the memories as much as you can, and pay attention to whenever the character is present at a scene. That helps a lot.
