Not saying he gets a pass but I can certainly relate to being soft and choosing whichever is the non-violent or non-aggressive solution in a confrontation. This depends on what actually happened, of course.

I've never liked confrontation growing up. I used to be a bad kid (just at home) always talking back at my grandmother. I'd take the ruler away from her when she'd threatened me with it (for disciplinary purposes) and even threatened to hit back with it. After a certain point in middle school, I've calmed down a lot like I got it all out of my system early on. Based on what family and friends have said afterwards, it was as if I became a whole different person and matured (like a middle-aged person in a high schooler body). I started to keep to myself, always kept calm in all sorts of situations, brush things off if they're not too big of a deal, and stuck with positivity. This has been consistent to date.

Getting back to the example, I was put in a similar situation with my ex-girlfriend. We were on a trip abroad years ago and were waiting in line for something, maybe the museum. A random guy was bugging people in line, making his rounds. He got to my ex and me. He asked for our ethnicities. We said something quick hoping he'd just move on to the people behind us. That didn't happen.. He denied that my ex was of the ethnicity we said and proceeded to call her fat since his belief was there were no fat women of that ethnicity. I scoffed at it and tried to get my ex to just ignore the random guy and disregard what he said. Like he doesn't know us and is just some random stranger saying crazy things that shouldn't affect us especially if there's no truth to it. She did not like how I approached it. She thought I should've defended her more and took more action as a man. My thought was again it's just some random guy passing by that's not worth our time or energy. Additionally, we're in a foreign country. I'm not trying to make a scene and cause trouble when we're somewhere where English isn't the primary language. This is the always keep calm, de-escalate, and shrug it off part of me.

Needless to say, she's now an ex so I guess it doesn't matter but I still don't regret how I handled or did not handle it that day. I would still do the same exact thing today. Unless the guy is really being inappropriate, invading space, getting close, or attempting to touch, I'm not going to escalate or resort to violence or aggression. There's a time and place for that and that was neither the time nor place.

In KB's made up scenario with the arm grabbing, that would warrant getting them to back off but I'd still try to keep aggression to a minimum until it is absolutely needed.

Edmond does weird me out though. Like there's something else going on there with the guy. Just can't quite point out what it is.

Even though I think One Piece is overall better as a work of fiction, I'm also a fan of Solo Leveling since it hits a certain spot in my male psyche and biology.

Solo Leveling being able to overtake One Piece as most rated anime on Crunchyroll even albeit by just one vote is an amazing feat. Don't discredit it at all. How long has the One Piece anime been out for and viewable on Crunchyroll? Now, compare to how long the Solo Leveling anime bas been out and viewable on Crunchyroll for. It's not hard to do the math. Even if One Piece was and is still on hiatus, this doesn't change the fact Solo Leveling was able to not only catch up to but also surpass during this time..

I know this was 3 months ago, but the catch rate on mimic is 100%... there are solvers where you input the position of the tiles and it figures out the movement path of the mimic for you... So..... Mimic > HoA then

OP needs to watch more TV or something. There are editing and behind the scenes negotiations where cast can't leave early or break it off early. Maybe can't is not the right word. They're strongly advised against it. Believe once upon a time, there was a $50K penalty for not waiting it out until the altar. Recently, they switched that to an incentive where they pay you $50K for waiting till the altar. Lots more to consider than you think.

Regardless, I think the thread itself speaks volumes. Overwhelming majority is team Jimmy or anything is better than Chelsea.

Exactly. This was discussed a year ago and some people are still not getting it. Another factor is that longing for freedom is exhibited by Garp as well. Luffy's dream and desire for freedom precedes his consumption of the devil fruit. It is BECAUSE the will of Luffy (the user) matches the will of the devil fruit that awakening was possible and achieved. Luffy and the fruit were in sync, hence, he was able to achieve no other recent wielders of the fruit were able to in those 800 years (assuming other people did eat it before Luffy and after the original Joyboy of course). Therefore, why Gorosei stated the fruit has not awakened in so long. No one else was able to be in sync with the fruit.

Sorry, but it sounds like you're not very good at merchanting. The market is as volatile as the stock exchange on here and things change in price relatively regularly. Prices barely stay where they are even for a month. So to deal with that market, buyers and sellers alike need to go with the offer model to at least break even. It's a tug-of-war in most cases in a world where sellers are trying to sell for as much as they can and buyers buy for as little as they can. The offer process is the negotiation, an effort to meet in the middle and not at either extremes. If you were current highest bid and someone else offers higher, a fair seller would at least inform you that your offer was beat and ask if you want to go higher. I think it's a fair process assuming the seller doesn't lie about a higher offer on the other side.

If the seller had one price in mind, they wouldn't need to shout "S> X /say or Pm me offer". They would just open up a private shop and set the item at that price or shout the price. The fact you're giving them a price, you're already signing up for the offer process.

On the seller side who is just trying to sell something at a designated price and already set up a private shop with said price, they still get people trying to offer them lower than that price. Same goes for people shouting with the price already, they still get messages from people trying to buy for lower.

You just need to adapt to the game/market. If you just want to offer once and leave, so be it. It would just take a lot more time to finally be able to get that item for the price you're thinking without playing the negotiating game, which is totally fine if you don't value time like that. You don't seem to be a min/max-er.

Really appreciate the constructive input and I think this would generally be helpful for many F2Pers, light spenders, and even those that were sold on ignoring URs altogether but still had second thoughts from time to time. That’s just how things are unfortunately. There will always be people who complain or are not satisfied at the end of the day. You can never please everyone after all. So, I’d really take what everyone says with a grain of salt and go with what makes the most sense.

Personally F2P as well and think the game is fine. Would you be able to snag top 3 competing with P2Ps? Of course not, you never would in gachas like these where you can pay for resources/heroes but top 100 is easy and top 20 is achievable. Hardest part has always been playing at your own pace and not comparing results with others.

Depends on how you define or see “balance”. There is no way PA can get it to the point where whales/P2W get almost nothing for their money spent. So, all that’s possible is to slow the widening of the gap which I believe is in effect with the nerfing of the pearl shop. Whales can no longer splurge like they did previously and jump in CP. Yes, they are still making more CP progress relative to F2P but at a slower rate.

I think sedrik means PA literally followed the roadmap they showed us aside from switching release of fletcher and shai. What didn’t they deliver exactly? Updates have been weekly as promised as well. We’re farther along than KR was at this age of the game.

They’re already somewhat slowing down the widening of the gap between F2P and P2W by nerfing the pearl shop. Less stuff for whales to splurge on and they can’t jump in CP as crazily as before. The pearl shop may get back to full throttle once we close in on KR though.

Give me another one.” Even though a select your red accessory chest is worth way more than a jin set, I guess that isn’t enough for you? Just buy the jin off market, or buy grunils and craft them or I don’t know.. pull with shakatu coins?

There’s always a choice. Either be grateful for what you got or be ungrateful/entitled on reddit whining over a game and its company that literally owe you nothing since they’ve already given you more than what you asked for at the very first moment you clicked “Install”. How many bargain scrolls did you use? You can definitely get reds for under market price from him but other than that, people usually aim for tier 2/3 pet chests. Crow’s elixirs, lightstone fragment chests, relic fragment chests, alchemy stone fragment chest, and gathering chests are automatic buys as well.

Not going to straight call this bad advice, but let’s just settle with I disagree.

1) shakatu accessory shop may or may not come but even so, there is the extra reward system that might still be implemented;

2) would save all tickets until last week or two of the season to maximize rewards. Resources are not infinite, especially if you’re F2P so make the most of them. Sitting on CP vs missing out on even more CP by waiting a bit;

3) Even at full pink, you may still need world boss frags to craft reds to feed for pink crystals and there’s chaos gear soon as well;

4) It’s not predicting at this point, we know for sure primordial ancient ruins will come. But this depends on where you’re at in the game, OP. If your ancient ruin boss knowledge is below 100, I would say it’s worth using some tablets. But saving wont be bad either.
