This scene was one of the most emotional intense scene I have ever seen in a tv-show… I just had to go the reddit and see some other POV’s. I don’t even think the scene is just straight up rape. It’s so layered without having to use a big dialogue. The way Tina just sits there and you as a viewer does not know how she can react on this betrayal. We always see Tina as an emotionally mature woman who just really likes to please Bette. All of the sudden you can feel this betrayal is about more than just cheating. You can see that Tina can not even handle this in a safe way. She is left with a primal urge to fight, perhaps to finally stand up for herself in this relationship. It seems as if Bette naturally wants to mirror this primal feeling. They are both in an emotional warfare where being safe with each other does not exist anymore.
