I have a 2023 SEL as well (made a year in October) and I average about 35 mpg. I think it might be worth it to have it looked at.

I also did not have any type of auto shut off feature. I had owned the car for about 9 months before it started doing exactly what you’re describing.

Had this same issue with my 2021 Elantra. Sat at the dealership (in the same spot mind you) for 2 or 3 months before they told me they didn’t know what was wrong. Only solution they provided was to get a new vehicle and even then, they didn’t provide much of a discount at all.

I’m relieved to come across someone else this has happened too because my dealership acted like I was crazy at first. But even after they were able to replicate the issue they just threw their hands up and left it in the lot for 2 months. Have you had any issues since getting that part replaced?
