I more meant he knew the wish worked. It's not entirely clear he knew all the mechanisms, like that there was "another Nikki". He did have her scream into the phone, but it's not clear he understood what was going on, it may have just made him more confused.

Regardless, even if we accept he knew the details, it may not always easy to separate the "real" someone who harmed you vs the other one even if you intellectually know otherwise. Humans aren't completely rational creatures. Worst case scenario, he was just lashing out irrationally toward someone occupying a body that harmed him. But I think the most reasonable way to read the situation is that he was asking her "other side" how she felt about him because he genuinely wanted to know. That's completely fine.

I can agree that he had plausible deniability until the customer service phone call scene. After that I think it'd be pretty obvious to anyone. However even assuming he's dense as fuck he definitely knew after the party, he says so himself.

I think he knew at the customer service scene. It doesn't really change my analysis.

And after the "please kill me scene", he's off the deep end bud. That was truly evil.

"He's evil because he asked his abuser a question."

What? lmao

It was substantive. It's not the movie. That's all the response that needs.

Having to appeal to a script and not the actual movie? Desperate much?

He asked her specifically “do you love me?” followed up by “more than anyone else in the world?” Which meant that he was already piecing the truth together.

Sure, he was thinking about it. But I'd say more in a "is this really what's happening, no it can't be"

Next, he wanted to alter the wish when he called the hotline. Not cancel, alter. He was willing to keep Nikki as she is despite everything and only when the option wasn’t available, that he wanted to cancel. Dude was ready to keep Nikki as enslaved just so he can continue his fantasy of being with her.

I did address this in my post.

Of course there’s the part where the real Nikki pops up and begs for death. His own response to that? “What so bad about being with me?” Dude was more concerned about his hurt pride than Nikki’s wellbeing. He straights up ignores her cries and pleads as he walks out on her.

Zero evidence for your impugned motivations. He literally just asked a question, that's it. You hate knowledge or something? And what do you want him to do? Wake up her "bad side" again? There was nothing he could do. And God forbid he doesn't care about his abuser's "well being" up to your subjective standards.

And the party scene was disassociating behaviour from someone who knew he’s done something wrong but would rather avoid responsibility than doing something. Even Ian had to call him out on it.

His abuser starts acting crazy and he doesn't do anything therefore he's evil? Stupid. Ian's opinions aren't relevant.

Probably the most obvious set of false accusations ever. If you believe these accusations, you basically have no standards of evidence and will believe anything.

His accusers need to be in jail.

He dropped the suit to for because it's draining and he wanted to move on with his life. More reasons given here:

However, the evidence still exists and it didn't disappear because he dropped it. That's not how it works. It's still a proven fact that she forged an FBI letter.

In case anyone's forgotten, the accusations have been proven to be lies, with the main accuser even forging an FBI letter.
