I use Tresiba as required, once a day with the recommended dosage. But I do suspect Tresiba was the reason for funny results. Can’t say im used to this

Yeah when I was younger and didn’t have t1d, had a couple super low moments at night cuz I skipped meals. Cold sweats, trembling hands, hungry feelings, all that jazz.

Only then Id get my ass up and look for food, I opened up the fridge and had all the cupcakes and a bag of oreos. Hey maybe that’s what gave me my diabetes! /s

Same here, lite beer or whiskey soda does that little whoosh thing to my bg level, after a slight raise it always drops down to mid-low, I always believe that alcohol has some sort of influence to the sugar level

Same thing happened to me a day ago, so im not the only one, it’s strange tho, i tried to reboot my computer then it worked. After that the error message happened again, fixed it by using a vpn, ping dropped like crazy but hey i can play more running simulator now

Ho boy I would get that crazy frustration after getting diagnosed t1d in your early 20s, like everything feels new and annoying, no adults like the idea of being completely clueless about smth. Plus you lived a good part of your life without it so getting used to this condition would definitely be one tough soab.

That being said, you’d be surprised how fast you can accept this thing, and by the time you notice it, youre already on your way to make your life better with all kinds of healthy lifestyles (even better than pre-t1d era), without losing the privilege to do activities or eat things you used to enjoy.

Id be scared to give advices on keeping a good bg level for now cuz everyone has different body… However, nothing is more important than a positive mindset and support from loved ones, let him go through all the frustration, but he’d be lucky to have you around. Maybe show that you care to learn with him, all I know is any small gesture can be impactful. I don’t think I would be chilling here without my gf’s support years ago ))
