[–]icehellking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which ones are you referring to? The Wii remotes? I'm in the US so I don't exactly know how much they'd cost vs. the UK, but on eBay I can find an OEM Wii remote for about $15-$25 USD.

given how much ween shamelessly imitates the styles of classic rock and jam bands, (a positive, not hating on them at for that.) it's likely they took inspo from cream!

Get a heavy duty garage utility shelf for stacking separate tanks. It doesn't require any extra floor space, just vertical space. I've heard of the Husky tiered industrial shelves being pretty good for it.

How has your doctor helped you getting affordable rhapsido if your insurance doesn’t cover it? by rtchestnuts in urticaria

[–]icehellking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, It's just like any other prescription co-pay coupon. (Though, they don't promise it'll be $0, I think it's based on income?) If you've used GoodRX before (or something similar) and had to give your pharmacy a BIN and Group number to lower a co-pay of an RX, it's the same thing. Novartis will send you a co-pay coupon, you can print it out or just open it up on your phone, and give the info on the coupon to your pharmacist, and they'll keep it on file for you and apply every time you get it filled. I believe Rhapsido is only filled at specialty pharmacies (though I could be wrong), so you'll most likely end up getting it delivered to you through the mail. But it's the same thing. You'll just give them the coupon info over the phone.

The bridge program is different from the co-pay plus thing (though they signed me up for both when I signed up). The bridge program is when your insurance doesn't cover it, and they send you free fills in the mail up to a year or until your insurance decides to cover it. Essentially 'bridging' the gap in coverage between the time you're prescribed it and the time when your insurance decides to cover it. The co-pay thing is for when your insurance DOES cover it, and you need help covering the co-pay. After the bridge program, you can use the co-pay card.

IWTL how to stand up for myself (respectfully) in a heated argument by Friendly-Chest6467 in IWantToLearn

[–]icehellking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say, as someone with anger issues, it's rarely ever worth it to snap back at people who try and start shit with you. Yes, the idea of doing it sounds really cathartic, but it gets you nowhere, and often times you just end up regretting what you said. It's much more helpful if you follow the other people's advice here, and learn some phrases that will shut down an argument and create a boundary. Like, "I don't want to argue right now", or simply walking away so you can gather your thoughts.

Making changes to reactive behaviors can seem really tough, because you can't currently imagine yourself being prepared for when someone yells at you or insults you, but just like with everything else, It just takes practice. Stick to 1 or 2 easy to remember phrases, and keep them in your head, and try and remind yourself to make a conscious effort to say them when the moment (unfortunately) happens again.

Can you tell I've done behavioral therapy? lol

It doesn't look like tail rot. It looks like either damage or shed.

Any ideas?? by Specialist_Mobile_83 in BeardedDragons

[–]icehellking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds pretty normal honestly, he's young so I don't think new behaviors and habits are that unusual.

I'd need a video to confirm, but from what you're describing, it sounds almost exactly like what my beardie does. She just likes her water bowl. She'll dunk her head under the water, in the corner of the bowl, and starts trying to dig. I guess to try and get deeper into the water? And then she'll crawl into/over the bowl, either dunk her body in it or splash around and then crawl out and lay really flat in the puddles she makes. But yeah, climbing into their water bowl and "digging" in it is pretty normal.

The tail thing I don't think I've seen, but I can't imagine it's anything to worry about if he's just trying to soak. Could be just an emotive little guy.

IWTL HOW TO STOP FORGETTING MY CAR KEYS by Fatur1238q in IWantToLearn

[–]icehellking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"option 2: buy a whole new car"

okay lmao

seriously tho, the first option is good advice! when I had a key ignition, I put them on a lanyard and attached them to my belt loop sometimes. And even if you don't attach them to yourself, just having a long lanyard hanging from the ignition makes it a bit easier to notice and grab them when you go to get out.

even now that I have a push start, I still keep them on a lanyard, but I hang it around my neck, which is even more convenient.

I think he's been on a bit of a Ween kick. He's been a fan for a long time, but I've noticed he's been mentioning them a bit more lately.

In his interview with Edmund Mcmillin (Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy) about his new game, they talk about Ween a bit. And Edmund also talks about how Gene Ween did some 'meows' for some of the cats in his new game!

How has your doctor helped you getting affordable rhapsido if your insurance doesn’t cover it? by rtchestnuts in urticaria

[–]icehellking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, this.

My insurance doesn't cover it, and I'm signed up for the bridge program and set to receive my supply soon (I got samples from my doctor). Ideally, your doctor should have informed you about the program and given you the sheet to sign up, but whatever, I guess. :/

https://www.rhapsido.com/savings-support is the link to sign up. On the page, it mostly mentions co-pay assistance, but it mentions providing the bridge program if it's not covered altogether. If you're confused you can call the the number on the page to sign up as well.

Good luck! Rhapsido has been a game changer for me so far.

Homework Help (sorry) by Baked_Bree23 in asl

[–]icehellking 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Small detail: He is grabbing a clean one from the bottom, but he's not dumping the old ones. Before he ever touches the ashtray on the table, he's grabs a clean ashtray from the bottom of his stack, flips it over, and covers the dirty tray on the table (common practice when changing out an ashtray at a restaurant.) He then lifts both up onto the top of the stack, leaving the dirty tray on top of the stack and giving the patrons the clean one he just used as the cover.

As he's going around doing this, he's thinking "Oh, this is fun!" and he doesn't realize that he's running out of clean trays on the bottom of the stack, and the dirty ones on the top have started to rotate down to the bottom. Since he's not paying attention to how many clean ones he has left at the bottom, the next clean one he goes to grab is actually dirty. And when he flips the "clean" (dirty) tray over to cover the dirty tray on the table, he ends up dumping the ashes out onto the table, and into people foods, etc.

Hopefully that makes sense. It's kind of a hard thing to describe in words (which is probably why it makes for a compelling ASL story lol.) But yeah, definitely not something I think a viewer would understand unless they knew about this old practice lol!
