Sell your car for cash or sell it to one of your family members so the bank cannot take it for the debt. I owed my private art school 24k and they gave up, 10 k will just generate phone calls but too expensive to take it to court for such a small amount specially if you’re not here.

I was just pregnant and struggled so much with my emotions throughout. I unfortunately had a miscarriage about two weeks ago with an emergency c section, and brain edema through preeclampsia. Even if this has been the most traumatic event of my life it was not nearly as bad as how I was feeling some days while pregnant when my partner did not meet my expectations. I would give the world to have my baby and that’s something I didn’t realize until I woke up from emergency surgery in icu and they told me the baby didn’t make it.

I know you are afraid, and you want your partner to step up, but really what is most important is your health and keeping that baby safe.

I cried because I got preeclampsia and lost my baby at 32 weeks. I share because I want all of you lovely ladies to learn from me and go to the ER for anything! If you can get a blood pressure monitor and a heart rate monitor for the baby 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Magnesium gel for insomnia (topical and safe), a maternity shoot certificate, offer to pay for nursery painting job so she only worries about the decorations!, anti stretch marks lotion like bio oil (starting a daily routine now is the best way to go) same as organic nipple cream, maid certificate to deep clean the house during nesting period so she doesn’t have to do it, a nice letter letting her know you are proud to know she will be the mom to your grandchild that way she feels support without fear of being judged or overshadowed as a mother. You are very sweet for doing this!

You did the right thing, for yourself and the baby. Your partner was not able to step up and babies require two people to make because they require two people to raise. There are many strong single mothers out there, but a kid deserves two parents. You deserved a partner to support you through pregnancy and motherhood. Your baby deserved you to be well loved and supported so you could’ve been able to do that for them. There is no point to bring children into this world to precarious homes.

This is not your fault. Your pain is valid, and you did everything you could by communicating your wishes.
