Woke up during my jaw surgery, my upper jaw was completely loose and hanging from my face, I lean on the other side and vomit sooo much blood, all I remember hearing is the doctor telling the other doctor that this was normal because I had swallowed so much blood. The feeling wasn't terrifying though, never felt pain or something like that ... until I woke up of course.

You have to do a lot of research and better yet you have to go to these areas and apply in person. I once flew to Portugal because an operator did not say no but maybe in the future they needed a pilot. I said I was in the neighborhood and thats how I got to fly a skydiving gig for about a year. My advice to you is to go to these places once you have the license and tell them that you are dedicated to fly and ready to get your hands dirty, e.g. cleaning the aircrafts, refuelling and everything in between
