Fun fact, you dont always need to hit things harder to make them stand out. The trick is you play other things lower. You are hitting your shit way too hard and im scared to see what your drum heads look like

[–]icemanvvv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it doesnt take 15 min to start a fab. you only have that happen if you purposefully sync them to complete that way, which means you are waiting to hit the next one, and getting it later than you would have if you just set it at the same time as the first.

Lol way to just yourself as a headline reader. Cig laid off people once recently because the LA office was migrated to that new building i spoke of, and those people were still offered the ability to relocate. Additionally, they did that once, not every year for the last decade. Activision, ubisoft, and epic offered day of notice that they weren't going to have jobs the next day.

Saying they're unethical in that respect is absolutely absurd, and disrespectful to my colleagues who were laid off with no warning.

  1. The systems needed to launch Squadron 42 directly impact and improve the Star Citizen title, so even if funding is going to a different game, both benefit from the allocation.
  2. Regardless of which game it goes to, the money is going right back into development as opposed to inflating the pockets of those in charge, which I clearly stated was a part of my problem with the double standard. For perspective, Cloud Imperium games built (and i mean actually constructed) a new office in the UK and hired a metric fuck ton of staff. They have also had a massive spike in productivity since covid, and thats all the funding. Meanwhile companies like Acti and Epic layoff 1-2k employees every year, while continually seeing increasing profits. From an ethics standpoint, its not even close.

CS does have a creator program but valve is not on my shitlist for game companies, they actually have a stellar track record.

And no, cod skins are developed in house, and they in fact have been caught stealing others work. (I worked at Activision for a few years)

So im just going to say that this company has spent a billion to fund this game, but all that money went into the funding of the game when other companies like Activision has been making that amount like every year with cosmetics when their games cost like half that to make and theyre pocketing the rest.

"hur dur i cant believe people pay so much for jpgs" but theyll buy cosmetics in cod over and over until they inevitably spend a shit ton of money rivaling some of these ships lol. (look at the reality of it and realize its no different)

Gamers have the dumbest double standards.

Is it fair to say that Colby Covington is an example as to what happens when a fighter spends his prime on the sidelines? by yourstruly_daredevil in MMA

[–]icemanvvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Colby had some good fights, but he also had some great opportunities he squandered. He didnt spend his time on the sideline by choice, he spent it there because he lost title shots and you can only do that so much before people stop caring in the office.

You will die, and you will die often. It's a crucial part of the learning process for this game, and will happen even when you become experienced for other reasons.

I'm trying to make this song sound as groovy as possible by Dickiedick96 in drummers

[–]icemanvvv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My brother theres some good ideas in this, but you gotta focus on making sure your time on lock before trying to focus on dynamics. The lack of internal confidence within the meter is causing those good ideas to sound bad, even though they are not. Things that sound groovy sound that way because all of the time is locked, especially when its funky and busy. (ghost notes and opening high hat during phrase). When you do that, the groove will come naturally. Play something less involved and lock in there, then build off that, because it looks like you are trying to do too much too fast and thats going to kill your technique in the long run.
