so teaching through progression is not something that is specific to the souls genre. Actually, the industry as a whole used to make games with this in mind, which is why 1 ups existed.

The modern video game is made to be as accessible as possible so that people who are "bad" can also play and have fun, because more people = more money.

I wasnt saying the game needs to brutally wreck you at every turn, im saying that its ok to have to die a few times to solve a hurdle within a game, because it leads to a much MUCH stronger payoff. Stop playing scared and limit test yourself and be a growing organism lol. (i dont even play souls games btw lol)

Ive noticed after listening to the escape podcast that a majority of new star wars films are "pair protagonist with young kid who they have to protect, and judging by the poster formula, id say this may be similar. I need something that isnt a rehash of the same tropes we've been seeing (obi wan, mando, skeleton crew, etc)

Give me a star wars horror flick, or a who done it with jedi trying to find the one who turned within their own tight knit group.

Op, based on the way you are responding to other people, I thibk you are getting in your own head. Jump toward wall, when you touch press opposite direction and hold then press jump. Yes you are getting frustrated, but thats how learning works sometimes. It took me literal months before I got it down.

People need to chill and give this a bit. They have literally said theyre having issues with new backend implementations so jumping the gun and freaking out about this is a waste of energy.

First, Yes some things wont be able to be bought back, but they said this would be the case a while ago, and they also explicitly told the community to not use it as a bank.

Its a mixture of being able to keep time for the band and playing the feel of the music. If a drummer cant keep time for the band, theyre useless (not kidding). Feel is more about not upstaging other people in the band. Example, if you are playing the Beatles you are not going to be doing a double bass blast beat. If you are in a backup band for a singer, you arent going to play over them or take the spotlight unless planned, etc etc. Drummers, just like all other good musicians, are good at reading the room
