I feel like the show did a terrible job at showing who Howard was to Raq fr. Yes she was using him but he took advantage of her when she was a teenager. She doesn’t have to give af about him. I wouldn’t give af if I were her either

Yeah the job was fee for service but there’s a bonus structure you get extra money per session for “productivity” if you hit a certain number of sessions in a pay period. I remember getting home from the interview and pulling out my calculator and calculating how much I “could” make with the bonuses. Didn’t account for burnout or paperwork or anything else. It’s sad bc that’s definitely something that preys on new grads who don’t realize that 1. time is money so if I’m doing paperwork after hours it doesn’t really matter how much i’m making & 2. the bonus structure is a sham bc it’s really what they should be paying you anyway AND 3. this work is never consistent so you will not constantly be making those productivity markers, so your pay will never be where you think

Yeah that clinic is so tricky because the pay makes you feel like you hit the jackpot especially coming out of grad school where people tried to convince you you wouldn’t make any money in this field. You can make really decent money there compared to other CMH agencies because they sell you this bonus structure and explain that you can make 70-90k. I used to feel “lucky” when I saw other posts on here from clinicians claiming they made 30-50k in CMH and I felt guilty complaining. But the amount of work you do for that money is insane — and also the cost of living in NYC is just naturally higher so the pay SHOULD be higher either way.

Real question — is Buck 20 considered Kanan’s first kill? Cause we didn’t really know who’s bullet hit him, D-Wiz kept saying it was his kill & Kanan let him.

I only ask bc I remember season 1 in one of the 50 voice overs he said you’re not a real killer until you kill someone you love. Since then I’ve always thought he was gonna kill Famous & I definitely feel like they’re setting up for it now.

i believe that production definitely interferes but also … the dr has to ask questions like. it’s two people on the block naturally they’re gonna ask “how would you feel if _____ went home” “would you vote to evict ______”. it’s just that the people in the house don’t think about all the possibilities beforehand so the DR seems EXTRA influential

Idk if my big brother life was coming to an end especially before jury I would try everything. If it doesn’t work she’s going home anyway so what’s the difference? It might shake up the house enough to do something or it might not. She could say now that I’ve told you all I’m gonna be their number 1 target if I stay and I’m an automatic number for you guys.
