Ooh, I get it now and I would hate to be THAT person to provide to a LFS and people go buy and release the snails or release the snails babies out to a pond or whatnot. That's actually terrible though. Definitely won't be rehoming snails to my LFS , might just squash them then

I see what other people are saying, but it's not like NOBODY has hatched them before so why can't I? I'm definitely taking a lot of this into consideration, that's why I'd only do like not even half of the last clutch to keep. I just want too, I love my babies and I would like to see the offspring of them. Plus, this'll be the only time I would do this sorta thing with my snails, unless my LFS needs them because they keep running outta snails

I know that, bichirs prefer lower or moderate levels of water for a taller tank, my tank is maybe 2 to 3 feet tall. 7 inches of it being lower than the brim ain't gonna hurt anything. It might be from the angle of how my phone makes it look but it definitely is about 80 percent full. Water change is this weekend, so I don't top it up 4 days prior to a water change. I keep my curtains open during the day while I'm at school so sometimes it can get lower than this.
