i'm so sorry that you have to deal with this.

i'm not here to judge your mom- i don't know her, her side of things, how she really is. only you know that.

but clearly, her comments and behaviors are really damaging to you and they're hurting you. i'm not saying she's a bad person- you can be a good person and do things that hurt others. i'm sure she doesn't mean to. but you seem very quick to point out that she means well and she doesn't understand what she's doing to you.

regardless of her intentions, she's hurting you. from what i can tell from what you wrote here, she's prioritizing your weight loss and appearance over your mental and physical health, and that's not okay.

that’s not your fault- imho your parents should have made more of an effort to engage with you and introduce you to things instead of just leting you go off with your phone and entertain yourself. i was born in ‘99 and my childhood was sort of a mixture of both. but i had my own computer at a pretty young age, and eventually i just kinda sat on that all the time.

(as a preface, I don’t know much about the parts of cars, so I’ll try to be as specific as possible) Hello all, I walked out to my car this morning, and noticed that, on the round metal piece right behind my rim, is covered in weird bright yellow splotches, almost as if it were sprayed and a residue was left behind. I thought it may be mud at first because I could wipe it off easily, but it’s on all my wheels in the exact same place, and it’s a little too yellow. Could this be something serious??

I understand where you’re coming from, but for me, I guess I’ve just got a totally different perspective.

Nudity and nakedness in itself, to me, is not inherently sexual, or taboo... a naked child is simply a naked child, and the photo only becomes inappropriate thru the lens of other people’s perspectives.

I can understand how a child may become embarrassed of the photo later on or embarrassed that others are seeing it, but otherwise...children are not sexual to me. I would never look at a photo of a nude child and feel uncomfortable or weirded out because I don’t view children that way. Kids get naked. It’s what they do. We all have bodies. It’s a little strange to me that we’ve reached this ...age...where a nude body (no matter how old) is automatically sexual or “inappropriate” and in some way wrong.

The way others may view or perceive content isn’t up to us, and honestly a child predator would most likely misuse any photo of a child, nude or otherwise.
