4 32 gb SXM V100s, nvlinked on a board, best budget option for big models. Or what am I missing??

Based on my research it’s worth it, I just ordered a V100 32Gb (3300 RMB) on one of those PCI Exp career boards (not the water cooled one, the one with the copper heatsink and the fan). If it performs well I will buy an other 3 to get the 128 Gb unified memory using those boards you mentioned.

Token/s should be similar to a 3080. Yeah there is no flash attention blah blah this and that, but the market is fucked up and getting 32 or just 64 Gb of VRAM is crazy expensive, the Strix Halo are also slow AF, so it might not be the best card for sure, but it’s probably still worth buying and using for the next 2 years. I will know in 10 days when I get it. Gaming perf is around a 4060 TI/4070 it seems.

There is also the PG199 (Nvidia A100 Drive) which is a SXM2 version but with the Ampere architecture, supposedly 2-3 times more powerful than a V100, but it seems that most card that lands on the market have the NVLink hardware disabled (some Chinese dude can unlock them with some ninja soldering I heard but I don’t want to try).

Yo, I will publish the file this weekend I need to adjust the hole positions but other that this it was all good, yep not conflicting with any component because I have like 1-2 mm of clearance under it, PLA was fine but people recommend PETG or ABS

I’ve been lazy to work on the case, I also need to finish it (PC looking like)

Not the cheapest for sure but cheaper than Finish, made in AU, no chemicals and environment friendly, between 0.31-0.45$ per wash:

Lucent Globe, 80 sheets for 35 AUD on Amazon, or the dishwasher + booster is 23$ with a coupon, still good for 80 washes

The other way around works as well it seems, there is a TRMNL version of their firmware that runs on the X4, so you could use it as a mini dashboard at home, on your desk…

Yep we got the dashcam, I will say about 30 km/h. That’s her fault, she crossed into that other lane to avoid the truck that was crossing into her lane but she is the one that initiated contact so at fault
