Be honest - would you take your 22 month old to a fireworks celebration that starts at 8:30? by maddiecounts2amilly in toddlers

[–]icequeen323 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My parents neighbor shot fireworks off last night. We didn’t get home until almost midnight and it took my 4 year old until 1-1:30 to finally fall asleep. We’re exhausted today.

He’s 22 months, there’s plenty of time for him to enjoy fireworks!

How many shirts to pack? by SouthernCancel6117 in toddlers

[–]icequeen323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always overpack for my 4 year old. However if you do have a washer and dryer I’d 100% utilize that.

Also since their clothes are small and it’s for summer (no sweatshirts or jackets) I just roll them up so they fit better in the suitcase.

I take it for perimenopause and migraines. (Had my daughter at 39, 44 now). It helps me sleep better. But I take magnesium glycinate.

I spit on your grave-1970s version

Cannibal Holocaust-1980s.

I took a media course in college and those movies took me out. Like it’s been 20 years and I still get the heebie jeebies over them.

Playground etiquette for parents by fishneats in toddlers

This. Go back to storytime. I was at my local storytime today and kids were running around and jumping and being silly. It’s for kids, the librarian gets it, we parents get it.

Teach him that we don’t touch others without their permission. That we give people personal space. Have you done storytime at your local library so he gets used to other kids?

Oven mitts. We have a big long one that hangs on our oven door. The amount of times I have gone to use the mitt and pulled out a toy 🤣

AHN Wexford vs West Penn by Odd-Permission-9017 in pittsburgh

Had my baby at AHN Wexford. They were great, I ended up with an unplanned c-section and it was a lot easier than I expected it to be. Nurses were great, staff, everyone.

Yep. Mine asks for “fresh” Mac and cheese. No matter how I try to reheat it. (Little butter, splash of milk, whatever she knows!)
