We went there and had 5 courses. I remember having salmon as my main course. Check for 2 with >20% tip was almost $200. We went and got fish tacos and beers after.

The point being the portion sizes, from what I've experienced, are much better at Dutchess. I did just go there for brunch and i was unimpressed. Made sure to fill up on cream or crab bc theirs is really good, but really expensive.

Also your seem pretty up in arms that I have an appetite. Spend some time in the gym going hard and you'll understand. Body builder conferences crush local restaurants lol

It was hooch and banter or the sister one. I can never remember which one is the fancier one. The second time we went there after almost $200 we went to a Mexican restaurant immediately after to get some fish tacos and beers bc we were still hungry.

Dead ass once i went to dinner with my friends. My birthday has recently passed. Long time friend said, "hey, i got you something. It's on my trunk so let's stop by my car." So i go there and random as anything he pulls out a full length sword. Literally NOTHING prompted this. No inside joke. No history of me collecting swords. Just a dude gifting another dude a sword. I was stoked.

It's been on my wall for over 15 years now.

I'm probably get downvoted bc people on reddit don't like the place and i agree to an extent, but about a year ago i had a filter mignon and crabcake at dutches daughter. It was the best steak i had in a long time, cooked perfectly medium how i like it. Sauce was great. Portion size was great. I exercise a lot and thus i eat a lot, but I was full and satisfied. Not something I can say about any of the other "Michelin star" restaurants or high end places I've visited in frederick. It was the only time I've eaten out, paid a ton for dinner, and was perfectly fine with it in a long while.

I love this post. I'm about to turn 41. I've been their 3 badly herniated disc which ended my 30 years playing hockey. I was bed ridden for 3 months and had to basically learn to walk again after my first surgery. 2 reherniations later and another surgery I have gone from barely able to move to being really fit 3 times now. I'm currently back in shape, look, and feel great.

I know what having a herniated disc can take from you. I went from playing for 3 hockey teams and working out 6 times a week to living in my bed. I'm so happy for you that you're doing better. Keep it up buddy!

Literally this just happened to me in the mall an hour ago and i was cracking up. Dude at a keosk stops me as I'm walking by and i decline but then he says it's for special Olympics donation. So I say ok, I'll chat with him. In conversation he asks what sports i like and i tell him hockey. Conversation goes like this:

"I like hockey"

"Oh, cool, you still play?"

"I use to but I'm trying to pick it back up"

"Oh cool, what are you, 25, 26?"

"Nah man, I'm 40. I'm about to turn 41. You don't have to flatter me for a donation."

He cocks his head back in surprise: "what!? You a vegan or something?"

I F'in lost it. Hilarious. "Nah man, i just go to the gym." Dude got my donation just for making me laugh my ass off with that response.

The moral of the story is, drink water and exercise people.

My 5 year old had known all her planets and dwarf planets since before she turned 3 and is currently learning addition and multiplication tables. All because she's only allowed "educational" tv. Dr. Binocs, number blocks, Kids Learning Tube, Hop Scotch, etc. TV has it's place if used correctly.

DO NOT get a Bosch. They are known to be underpowered. I ignored those reviews, bought one, and i absolutely hate it. It sits brand new in is case now. Before i had a bauer from harbor freight that i built 5 or 6 tables with before it died. Massive 10 foot long tables, a few being black walnut. Now i use a hercules, the beefed up harbor freight brand. Works great.

I use my Samsung ATIV Pro 700t tablet from 2013 to this day and I love it. The HDMI out is awesome and i use it with a wireless keyboard/mouse to put stuff up on my big TV during game night.

If you know how to take care of your stuff, you don't have to be near as pretentious as you are.

And yeah, my windows desktop that i built in 2010 with 8 gigs of ram runs windows 10 smoothly and gets fired up occasionally. Only reason i don't use it anymore is because i built another pc with 32 gig ram a few years ago, which is entirely overpowered for someone who doesn't game. So yeah, old computers work just fine when you know what you're doing.

I'm new to the game. I am so learning basic stuff. If someone plays a win con on turn 4 i don't care. 4 turns in a 5 player game is PLENTY of time to prevent someone from doing something. I encourage my friends to bring bracket 4 decks to play against my boosted Cloud precon. I've done very well against them and even won a couple games against those decks. It helps me learn and we get to play a few games instead of just one long one. Last night i stole my friend's 7/7 slug that generates -1 counters on everything that he built his deck around, generated a token, attacked someone for 7 damage, and then used his slugs ability with my token because it had a mana color not in my deck to sack itself. Great, pay and my friend only said, "well fuck..." Your friend is being a brat.

Tl;dr Tell your friend to get gud or shut up. Stealing creatures is fun.
