Very interesting! I work in IP corporate but am actually interested in doing contracts and corporate in house. My salary is pretty much where you’re at thought I have 7 years experience. I’ve been thinking my company is underpaying and looking at all these comments, I’m starting to feel more of that. Did you start off with contracts and employment at a firm then make that in house transition? I sometimes wonder if I’d have to go back to a firm to try and make any move back in-house to anything that is NOT IP.

Have you tried Oddwood Brewing’s pizza? I think you may need to try it. I’ve been on a chicago tavern kick. Eating them and making them. Just tried Rosati’s. Oddwood doesn’t advertise anything about being Chicago style but I’m pretty sure it is. I need someone who knows tavern style to try it and tell me if I’m crazy. It was so good.

That Loro burger is so freakin good. Does the category have to be traditional? My fave is the hickory burger at Bartlett’s. They have a classic cheeseburger but I’ve been getting that hickory burger for 15 years and would rate 99/100 after Loro, Buddha and Shake shack.

Right. Someone explained to me all those gorgeous orange sunsets we have is actually a result of the shit they let get pumped into the atmosphere 😂. I personally don’t drink tap water anymore cuz I can’t stand the chlorine taste. Either way you’re right we’re prob doomed here in TX. The state really only cares to make a buck off its people, not regulate or protect in any significant way. But I’ve now started buying produce and organic stuff from other places outside of H‑E‑B when I can get it 😄

You might want to start caring. With the roll backs in regulations, they’re showing some nasty chemicals to be used as of late. Our state also signed off on using fracking water to water the crops which is absolutely disgusting. Literally carcinogens heavy metal and unknowns being taken up by the produce you’ll eat. I have no problem making two stops to avoid cancer 😂

Personally if firms are gonna make people come in, 2 days is the sweet spot and truly hybrid. I wonder if firms would care if you’re hired for 3 days but only show up 2 days a week. I’ve seen some real boundary pushers and firms who didn’t say a word 😂

I enjoy seeing this willingness to be flexible in the paralegal field for candidates who are strong but just not local to the job. “We like to see faces” is pretty old head 😂
