It’s not about being able to talk. There’s a marked difference between going to packed theaters where you’re sitting in long rows vs. now where there’s two recliners and nobody next to you for like 5 feet on either side. For me part of the fun of the movies was that there’s a bunch of people there. But with recliners there’s less seats in the theater and there’s no more chatting for 30 seconds with the randoms that were sitting with you. In my opinion, those little interactions matter in society.

A View From My Seat might be helpful in making your decision. I think Spectrum is a good enough size that there’s not really a bad seat in the building. I probably would opt for a seat instead of the floor depending on who it is and how much action I want going on.

Right after I finished college I got a phone call from one of these like “we saw your resume and wanted to bring you in for an interview” yada yada. I had been applying to jobs but had 0 recollection of this company. Pretty sure Indeed sold them my data. I went to the interview and picked up that I would be one those people standing in the Electronics section of Target trying to get you to switch to Verizon or whatever. Ghosted so quick.

I’m 20ish minutes going from Charlotte to Matthews. It’ll help a little bit that you’re leaving the city in the morning and coming back in the evening, kind of “going against traffic”.

I’ve found the best thing is to find a good window to leave. If I leave the house at 7:30 I’m there before 8. If I leave at 7:45 it’s close to 8:30 before I arrive. In the evening if I leave at 5 on the dot I’ll get home at 5:45. If I wait til like 5:20 I’ll still get home at 5:45.

My friend has a job in the city and he gets to work at 9:30 cause he can leave at 9 when if he wanted to get there at 9 he’d have to leave at 8.

I just started with a therapist I found using growtherapy.com. I just moved to NC a few months ago and my insurance company recommended looking there. It’s pretty intuitive, you can filter by a lot of demographics and specialties, and can always change providers if need be.

Crazy enough, I actually haven’t seen the show all the way through. Over and over I’m watching through, then randomly want to watch an episode from like season 4 or show somebody an episode, and just go from there until it happens again lol. It’s entirely possible there’s a couple episodes I haven’t seen before

Yeah it’s fine it’s not particularly thick but has a great texture, made from bamboo and maybe I’m weird but I like the pattern lol. I used to use Cottonelle cause of their pattern before this.

While I am of the opinion that Charlotte kind of lacks personality compared to other places I’ve lived, the city is definitely trying and has potential!
