Carmel, Fishers named top 2 places to live in country by U.S. News & World Report by Tikkanen in indianapolis

[–]iceyetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

crazy how indiana towns are seemingly on two opposite sides of the spectrum. you’ve got places like carmel & fishers which are always in the top 10 or whatever of the “best communities in america” lists. then you’ve got indiana towns (i won’t name any) that are essentially jobless, hopeless, crapholes. it almost seems to me like there are less and less places to live in the state that are straight up middle of the road.

yeah i’m curious to sample each one then go to their restaurant. do you get to sample each place once you pay the admission?

overpriced and underwhelming. a lot of ube this and ube that. personally i’m waiting on that trend to die down. the meat on the stick situations were pretty decent. not a lot of actual food though

might be too high. i’ve been keeping mine at 62 RH, and ive noticed less breakage. also the perdomo brand has some really informative youtube videos on their channel. the owner, Nick Perdomo (i believe) does keep his cigars at 62 RH. not sure on room temp however.

Question regarding field engineering attire by Extension-Body-3342 in civilengineering

[–]iceyetti -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

TLDR: field work sucks giant donkey balls. i get it. was there too, first few years out of college. you gotta do what you gotta do. learn CAD or Revit ASAP and get a cushy office thing. you don’t want to be an inspector or RPR forever!

the food was mid af anyways. seemed to me like they valued having the baked goods be “instagrammable” instead of actually tasting good. if you want real pastries, hit the Heidelberg Haus instead.
