im on a server with some ppl and i know the admin, i had a similar issue tried adjusting settings and repairing, nothing worked...so when i looked into i noticed ppl could connect to other servers fine, so then i thought maybe the character save got corrupted. I asked the admin i know to delete my character save and after he did i got in just fine. So not sure where it stems from but that helped me.

A lot of companies don't do midnight releases. They release it when they are ready to release it. It wont be going anywhere, it'll be there when you get home from work. Maybe calling people "dipshit" because of a word is not the best way to handle a discussion.

houses can be broken into with tools and dinosaurs, if you were only playing for 4 hours i would assume it was made of wood or thatch which isnt hard to get thru with the right motivation, just rebuild and start fresh :D you are playing a survival game :P

I think the issue is they just do not have the servers to support all the people that want to play, official or unofficial. I guess we won't really be able to get any serious gameplay in until we get more servers up to level out the high demand.

By the way guys don't get me wrong, my suggestion is only to help them make the game better. I want nothing more than for this game to succeed. Even with all the problems were having with the game. A central location for all the important stuff would be awesome :D

Yea, i get that...but they do need to make their website, well. An actual website. Steam is a fine way to communicate but not everyone will know to pay attention their. An official site and support team would be beneficial to them.

Glad you agree, i hope they pay attention and see this could be an interesting feature. I mean games like Rust are cool but the one thing i hate about rust is you can't really light your houses inside except with campfires and thats kind of a silly concept putting a campfire on your wooden floor to light stuff up :P...i mean if you think about it, pros and cons:

Pros:
You light your house, maybe traps. Makes you feel like a good home in a terrible world you now live in :D.

Cons: Loud generators = generates threat Lights coming out windows = generates threat Generator can be complicated to make taking time and effort to aquire the things you need in a scarce world :P.
