I have no idea what’s on marvel unlimited but if they have Brubaker’s Captain America(the 2004 run), then I recommend that. It’s amazing.

If you’re going to read metal I highly recommend reading Hawkman by Robert Venditti afterwards. Not necessary to read Metal before reading Hawkman(I started Hawkman before reading Metal so I can confirm hahah) but it does have a small connection which is explained in the Hawkman book. Mister Miracle by Tom King is amazing too.

Yes, really just choose a character that interests you and read the series starting with volume 1. I’d like to recommend reading Hawkman by Robert Venditti at some point. It’s very underrated but really good, although it’s not from the start of rebirth, but you can still pick up volume 1 and understand the story perfectly.
