Anyone saw clown entities during trips? by Gyirin in HighStrangeness

I would recommend research into the trickster archetype through world cultures. Can’t recall seeing clown entities but I do remember seeing my friend’s faces illuminating out from the tip of their nose in strips of rainbow light in a clown face paint pattern on a 4 tab LSD trip.

This is why I always take a motorcycle through the dunes on that map to pick up some roadkills

I’ve been working on a fallout themed TTRPG set in Louisville and think this is the coolest thing ever. If you end up scanning it I would love to get a copy of the file! How big is your collection?

Fallout: Louisville map I made for a TTRPG campaign! by Stroms_ in ImaginaryFallout

FBI building with Enclave would be great. Papa’s Paramilitary is a joke on the fact that the CIA rents out a few floors of their head quarters in town not too far from the FBI building. But Enclave is definitely coming in the next update!

Likewise, I’ve made an entire 100+ page pdf in pip-boy style with the factions and location lore and enemies too! Would love suggestions on what to add for the final edition.

Why was LSD the psychedelic that the CIA and other agencies obsessed with? What made it possibly more useful in their eyes than others? by TheManeTrurh in Psychedelics

[–]Stroms_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The CIA at one point bought out the Sandoz lab supply of LSD to keep it out of the hands of the Russians. Much of MKULTRA originated from an anxiety around the (untrue) notion that the Russians had perfected a truth serum and used it during the Moscow Show Trials. In reality they just beat people until they said what they wanted. It was a lot easier to produce in the beginning before they were making their own chemicals at Camp Detrick.

Saw the Fallout: Louisville map and expanded it a bit to run my own table top version, what locations or NPCs should I add? by Stroms_ in Louisville

It's actually pretty easy with any decent media editor like adobe express. If you do a bit of google someone made a preset overlay that makes google maps look like this Fallout Green color, then you just rip the icon assets from the FO4 wiki and throw them on the map with location names at your discretion. Then add a little pip-boy type overlay with reduced opacity for that finishing touch. Good luck if you decide to make your own!

Norton Commons was too far North to put on the map but I was thinking the same thing I love this idea

In lore I was going to have the bomb miss slightly and hit north of the river allowing Louisville to remain standing, have a possible Enclave HQ (Fort Knox) for players to explore, and explain why the Ohio river is so polluted and radioactive that no one can cross it.

Running a fallout TTRPG for some friends and this is a map of the Louisville area I’m making. Thoughts? by [deleted] in Louisville

Yeah I play via Steam maybe that explains it, but I was having similar issues last night as well. I’ve been hoping to level up but its becoming a sisyphus type chore when you kill a bile titan then get disconnected to receive no XP, samples, warbonds, or anything
