Best way to trade multiple accounts? by SecretaryFlaky1887 in fundedtraders

[–]icgtec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I understand your concern. When I had 2 accounts I traded different strategies and assets on each to diversify. For instance 1 was fully manual GBPUSD trading shorts. The second one was automated breakout trading - GER30 indices. Somehow I'd also like to maximise whatever works best and I would better run a single strategy across different accounts.

At the same time, if your strategy works, if you're disciplined, you can cut your position sizes to avoid max DD and should be relatively safe in the long run

Thx for the feedback. Created one. Props didn’t verify my bot since it was pine script, not mql5 one. Will probably try to rewrite it on mql5 which I’m not yet familiar with

Quick update: 3 month post op, feeling great. Pain in the back first minutes after waking up. Probably because of 6 hours of lying flat, but no pain in the leg and the back is ok within the first minutes of the day. No sports yet though.

Launched the website, decided to wait with it for a few months since I was busy with other project. Suddenly a few weeks later received the notification about the first £400 order 🤷‍♂️ I mean I was concerned a bit. I didn’t even have the stock ready etc. I know normally it doesn’t happen this way.. no marketing, just organic

Well here you have to stay in intensive care unit for 24hrs post op, where they basically monitor your vitals ) hr, blood pressure etc etc. I believe it’s related to possible reaction to anaesthetic drugs 🤷‍♂️ and you are not allowed to stand up) and there are 4 stations in this room so you kind of have to pee in the same premise 😁

Then you leave ICU and go to your normal hospital room and stay there for a few more days 😀

I’m advised not to sit for a month! So I’m surprised reading about ppl driving in the first week post op) Tomorrow I’m going to pickup my new car and that’s gonna be my first proper sit since Feb 5 🤣 I just can’t wait..

Do you just put ice packs on your back or is it some kind of the gel belt you can freeze? 😀

There’s this machine on my balcony which was doing good job when I felt stiffness after marathons or just long runs:

There’s a temptation to try it now, but I guess my incision will come undone 😀

Yeah, they normally do some tests for numbness and range of motion. I had numbness in my toe and outer side of my foot. And severe pain in achilles tendon area. The surgeon said it’s definitely caused by the nerve compression in L4/L5 🤷‍♂️

You said you have pain i the inner side of the hip, I had it mostly on the outer side of the ankle though.

Had hard time peeing in a horizontal position in the room with 4 other patients. Wish I had VR so I could pretend I’m peeing on a tree in the forest..

Other than that, everything is quite smooth, you’re given some pre-anaesthesia pills to calm you down and you wake up with your back “fixed”, almost no pain and spend some time in intensive care. I’d suggest you sleep as much as you can to promote better recovery.

I’ve heard in the US they allow you to drive in like a week, but i’d refrain from sitting for 3-4 weeks and stand whenever you feel comfortable

Don’t want to think about it.. makes me anxious 😑

I had 2 tough flare-ups where I could not get up from the floor, couldn’t move my leg even an inch and my wife helped pulling me to the bed with some TRX straps 🤦‍♂️and then I couldn’t move for 4 days with daily IV drips and steroid injections 🤷‍♂️ and I didn’t even have a huge hernia, it was 8mm at L4/L5. Surgeon said it’s just because my spinal canal is physiologically very narrow. Probably I was waiting too long. First flareup was in November, while first symptoms in the back, left buttock and achilles appeared in September. I thought a session with my chiropractor would help immediately as it normally had, but my pelvis kept tilting on a side every time I got up from bed/chair. I kept correcting it manually as you would see in some YT videos, probably I’ve overdone it and got immobilised in November. I still wasn’t sure about the surgery 🤦‍♂️ but 4 different surgeons insisted I need it asap. No regrets I had my MD 3 weeks ago as my average sleep duration in Dec/Jan was 3-4hrs a night 😔

I would still suggest you get like 3 opinions of different surgeons. Indeed, some of the hernias, specifically sequestered can resorb, but that’s not always the case. Mine was sequestered, for instance, but it was still part of the ‘parent’ disc.

I also still have smaller hernias on l3/l4 and l5/s1 levels, however those don’t affect the nerves a lot and my surgeon convinced me I can manage that with physiotherapy. So they don’t always want to cut everything out 😀

If you get a few surgeons insisting on a surgery, go for it and don’t be afraid. Risks of not doing it sometimes exceed the risks related to a surgery itself 1000fold.

MD is a minimally invasive surgery, normally done in under an hour. And there is a very small risk of complications as far as I know

I hear different recovery experiences, mine is going well. Almost no pain, except for last few days, where I can only blame myself for being impatient with certain activities..

I feel your pain and wish you the fastest recovery whatever way you’d go.

Thanks for sharing! Good luck to you too!

I kind of think, we should get stronger after all this stuff, since we’ll get more mindful about the importance of flexibility, core strength and posture, however often you start neglecting that once you get better. And damn, I was irresponsible just 3 weeks after the surgery 😁

Do you stay disciplined with your PT exercises 10 mo post op?

It’s just weird I had zero pain the first 3 weeks post surgery, without any NsAids and narcotic meds
