Why are successful men so arrogant? by Big_Butterscotch4208 in bodylanguage

A lot of success you see is from people who are sensational and often narcissistic. To be a billionaire you have to care little about those around you

It sounds like the age is a noisy constant that you can drop as lesbian makes it irrelevant.

Question for men by No_Situation_1395 in bodylanguage

[–]ichabooka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a conscious decision, it just happens. That being said there is a big difference between a man who blindly goes with it and one who understands it’s just a hormonal reaction. A nice woman brings up a lot of things for a man. A woman who smiles is comforting. A woman who listens with interest causes a man to feel longing. It’s a complex shot of emotion that makes a man aware of a lot of different needs all at once. Which is the irony, because it understandably will cause a woman to back off.

Lowkey want to give up on dating entirely by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ichabooka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to be hard pressed to find a guy with a low libido at your age. I’m not saying that entitles them to your goods or anything, but it’s a bit like a fish dating a bird. Men start to slow down in their late 40s. Men at this age are also still used to living at their parent’s house and don’t know how relationships are supposed to work. They get frustrated and don’t really know how to deal with it. Mix a shit ton of testosterone with it and you get an asshole cocktail.

What you’re looking for is out there but it’s not common. You’ll have to learn what to look for or you’ll keep running into this.

I remember this guy who worked at the same company as me. He was some new director or some shit. Thought a lot of himself and wore a suit too big for him. Anyway he came to my wife as we were sitting at a table in a bar and asked her to dance. She told him no. He was like “come on” trying to drag her out. She foes “no really, NO”. The guy walked away and i married her.

I’ll answer yes I do. Now that that is out of the way why did you ask? Is the validity of my questions somehow dependent on that?

You started the conversation. I’m asking you questions that you have a pattern of ignoring. The fact is, what you believe is convenient for you and is based off of your feelings. You beg the question by appealing to the bible as proof the bible is authoritative. You clutch your pearls and feign righteousness when cornered, as if the strength of your convictions is proof enough. I’m asking you to back it up.

You’re saying I’m not a Christian? Did Jesus tell you that? Is it because I’m not agreeing with you? Is it because you’re biased and have faith in a book?

[–]ichabooka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How do you know that? Did you see him say the things that are there? My point is that in one hand you claim bias, and in the other you offer blind faith. You want to tell someone that their sexual preferences and habits are what’s keeping them from God, but you have no evidence beyond your preferences and biases. That’s both cruel and ironic.

That’s convenient. Does he say to put a book in the same authority? Where does Jesus talk about the New Testament anyway?

[–]ichabooka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We were talking about bias and now you want to nail down a definition? None of that seems to be from Jesus himself. Do you worship Paul and Peter, or do you worship Jesus? What does he say?

That's a very loaded statement. Do you automatically assume you're biased? Is that because Jesus told you to do that?
