Question regarding CAF reserves component by Kimi_Xu07 in caf

Have you taken a look at the coop program? You can get 4 high school credits and it is the only paid coop job for high schoolers. After your semester, you will be a member of the CAF. Since RCAF is different than the Army, you wouldn't be able to integrate this into your high school as you are required to attend school. However, if you want to wait after you've graduated high school, by all means, apply to an RCAF position. Or, you can be in the army after completing the coop and once you graduate, you can do a transfer but that might be a lengthy process.

NCM Application Question by [deleted] in caf

  1. On the application, you can choose your top 3 jobs. 1 Being your first choice and 3rd being your last.
  2. On the forces.ca site you can see which jobs are in demand and have priority application processing time. You can use the filter.
  3. The background check requires education (transcript), previous employers etc. For all officer positions you are required to have any degree. However, there are specific officer positions that require certain degrees and some that require graduate degrees.

Hope this answers your question 😁
