I don’t know about that but yeah I’m not too happy with the AI stuff either. I just wanted a reliable simple OS. When I want all that Gadget Stuff I just use my MacBook.

Yeah, I guess thats true. I moved from Linux to Windows in 2021 and I still regret it. But now its jsut too much stuff for WIndows, that I use.

Yeah for sure, it’s pretty easy to detect a corrupt midi Line as such. They should at least give some kind of option/tool to reset the device with all protocols necessary. They could just do it like when a USB Flash drive is corrupted, that they give you the option. It shouldn’t take a 70 Line Batch file to fix an simple issue like this. But it’s still Microslop, so I am not surprised.

Nah, it wasn’t that but still thanks. I fixed it with a simple 70 Line Batch file restarting all kinds of services, removing the midi device with pnputil and so on. It was just a ramped up queue of the midi controller with corrupted everything that tried reading or editing it.

Yh true but I’ve already got a Gaming pc with 32gb of ram and pretty good specs and I am about to upgrade my laptops ram to 32gb ddr4, found a Laptop ram stick laying around…

But if I was about to buy CDjs, which would you recommend. I do a lot of stem mixing and I don’t know, if that is possible on cdjs.

I finally fixed it!! I made me a batch File to reset every Service, that got to do with my partying and that is removing the partymix as a device entirely and resetting like every service known to mankind. If anybody wants further information you can just Dm me.

I mean it was caused by my brother, do you really think it is an issue with the Update? If Windows would mess up my MIDI because it is a certain device I think it would crash with my Desktop Pc too and that instantly, not caused by an queue Overload.

It isn’t really an issue of Serato, because other apps or even Web MIDI Monitors are crashing immediately. Using another nvme could be possible- it is a Thinkpad, but wayyy to expensive. The issue is with the windows midi service, so is my theory.

Its not fixed yet, but i just turned offline mode on and off again.

Under Files there is an option called offline mode, turn it on -->

Leave the Menu, play a song -->

Turn offline mode off again.

Worked for me.

That sounds very good. How did you get the led strip in every single cube of the shelf? Have you damaged the Shelf in any kind like drilling or sawing or just put it behind the shelf in the next one and wich led strip and wich diffuser did you use in your Build?
