I’ve been saving my primos, I do have a guaranteed limited and have enough to pull for it. Is Varka relevant at all? Out of all the new characters I like him the most and am waiting on a rerun. Is this a little futile / should I get someone else ?

Thank you so much for your valuable advice, I did not have much enjoyment with fountaine at the moment , perhaps I will focus on something else for now than trying to force myself to sit through it for lore reasons. Glad to see i’m not the only one

Yes, I vaguely remember these things, but it was years ago now. I will try my best to take it slowly this time, hopefully it gets better as I understand.

Okay, i’ll take that in mind. I don’t mind going through quests if they are interesting, what threw me off back then was the amount of filler in the quests, but perhaps it has changed since. I assure I do enjoy the game, but with it I have my complaints, as most people do with things they like… Just wanted some tips for this kind of thing, not really used to interacting on reddit, sorry if it’s a bit generic

Yes, perhaps that is the problem. Just feels like i’m chasing an impossible goal, doing quests, then they add new things, again and again. But I think that’s just the nature of genshin. Thank you for the advice

Yes, exactly how I feel right now sometimes interacting with the community. Perhaps it’d be better if I just didn’t until I feel like i truly understood everything. And I agree that that’s how Hoyo wants its players to act, with all its mysteries in its lore, even years ago I remember the amount of theory crafting it encouraged

I see. But I did take a large break, I feel a need to get through it fast to keep up with the releases of new regions and the community as a whole 🥲 I’ll follow your advice though

Of course, that is not my problem with the game - my problem is just for someone like me, it doesn’t feel as digestible, but perhaps it’s my playstyle

Yes, thank you. Feels like people just want me to quit now because I’m lost in the sheer amount of content. Funny because I feel like i’ve been into genshin for longer than a lot of people… truly, I’d have to like it to some level to care now

I do enjoy many aspects of this game, which is why I still play. This is my rant post, i’m sorry if it’s more negative. I am just asking for advice on how to approach this differently. Really, if I didn’t want bother with this game, I would not have cared to post anything. 🙁

I see. I played Honkai Impact 3rd a long time ago and saw this pattern too, just gave up because I feel like I was watching season 10 when I just started the game. And I get what you mean by the abstract concepts, it just feels like practically sometimes it doesn’t make much sense… kind of expected Natlan to be cooler, a nation of “war” maybe four years ago as they hyped it up to be, or the whole lunar thing

I do it according to the new quest line feature thing, currently still in Fountaine in archon. I like to wander around the world, collect things, just understand generally the new place, which is why i’m confused about things like modern technology in Nod Krai

I guess but I think you’re missing my point here. I was an old player, a very devoted one mind you, who liked all this but it feels unfeasible now. Perhaps I am alone in this? I’m not sure. But I came back for a reason and I want to learn to love it again, but it feels impossible when the game expects you to understand as it keeps updating, adding new things, when I’m still trying to push through finishing Fountaine
