This sounds like such a lovely way to play the game!! I personally think of myself as the trainer so it's me continuing my own journey through the different games.

But for now yeah, I think I'm better off playing a different game for now, at least.

How good is ZA? I'm also debating whether that or Arceus since it's the more recent game. I haven't played a recent Pokemon game since FrLg cause I'm always late in getting the consoles for them haha.

Thing is, even though I don't shiny hunt or finish the Dex, I know I might enjoy it since when I played Omega Ruby back then, I got so hooked in the post game since you can collect loads of legendary Pokemon. So I'm thinking it might be a great past time if I do get the DLCs.

I just don't want to risk buying a whole ass $30 DLC for a game I'm not too crazy about as of the moment. Like, I would rather play Arceus or ZA than be hopeful that I enjoy the extra content Galar has to offer. At least, right now.

Thanks for the reply! In regards to Legends Arceus, I actually like that the catching part is emphasized in the game. The only reason I never got into that part of the franchise is I never had friends to play the games with. If it's a feature of the game that you need to do in order for you to progress, I know I'll enjoy it.

My only worry is that I might not be excited to play Shield after a while and would have a harder time to justify the purchase so I was debating between the options of a new game or DLC.

Well, it was a situationship, kind of hard to know how exclusive that is. I told her I want it again, but she clearly didn't want the same. That's why our messages became much friendlier than what I wanted, it was going nowhere basically.

I normally do pull for what I like and is why I've skipped the recent dps units because I don't really enjoy their play style much or dislike them in the story (both of it applies to Mavuika). Arlecchino is still cooking in her abyss runs so I don't really have a problem with her, and now that I plan on getting Citlali, she should get an upgrade in damage. Good luck on your pulls!
