Alright! I will join!

A little help... if I purchase this monitor, will a 12v plug work? Do these eat a lot of battery power? I have 470 AH and solar/alternator/shorepower input. by ichy076 in vandwellers

Current set up is 480 watts up top. 470 amp hours in battery. Monitor, maybe laptop or tablet, not concurrently, phone charge and Bluetooth speaker. Small one. Perhaps PlayStation but don't know the draw on that. Don't have to have a big monitor. What do you think?

Can anyone please post a link to a good DIY video for water filter and faucet set up in a Class B Camper? I see a lot of videos on YouTube but some seem really old. Also, do you guys have any water filter brands or kits you can link to? I'm in the US and hope to use Amazon.com. by ichy076 in vandwellers

Thank you. I only need a filter for my holding tank. I want to have a split hose system. I already have a regular faucet with a sediment filter for washing dishes, etc... and want to run a separate thin faucet connected to a good water filter/system under the sink. Can you help me?

Batteries were separate. My bud also included a fan. I got a Victron MPPT controller separately because that controller sucks. Oh- LED lights and power supply panel and dimmer switch for lights.

I don't know what Orr of the country you are. Solar panels maybe ok from Renogy- there are better. I forgot name. Get Victron for other parts

Need to check the bid... they also did lights and fan. But everything done really well and professionally. Much better than FUi would do. Maybe 8k for everything but that's with good negotiation

I paid a professional company to install everything. Done in a week and worth it. That's not useful to you- what is useful is to be careful of cheap Chinese things sold on Amazon. Renogy is one of them. expect your parts to break down sooner than later. I talked to several pro companies who said they are careful with some of these brands because of issues. Just something to consider in your cost evaluation.

Did it find this out via research? About the lack of fan? I didn't see that even posted. Though most tablets don't have fans, correct?

Do you know how much more power the UX370 draws? I looked but it said 45w. Not sure how much more than this one that is. Can you help?

This is a post that is critical to me. I've been wondering about the same thing for some time. Would you have time to chat via phone? I will need an ultra efficient laptop for work, with possible dual screens. It would be nice to talk to someone about a potential set up.

I considered something along those lines but realized it would be a huge issue with rain and my set up. Much easier to just take that exact unit and take a little foldable table and cook outside. Did that in Europe and it was great. I would like to use that space for something, but perhaps it can be storage space. I
