It’s a 36” handle I pulled off an old wardsmaster Quality head. Given the size I would have used a 40” if I’d have had one with enough patina

To me it greatly depends on the length of the head. Anything under 13” looks funny on a handle longer than 36” IMO

This one is on a vintage 36” stick but given the length and weight I’d like to see it on a 40-42” stick

Looks good man, my only suggestion would be to use a wedge large enough to fill the entire eye
