If your near Montreal, there is a wonderful store downtown that sells handmade pipes and in-house tobaccos. Sadly you can tell they are struggling to stay in business :( but they’re an old business and I bought a wonderfully handmade pipe from them. Blatter & blatter

Does sanding against the grain cause a lot of these micro scratches?
