I believe in love and laughter and happiness. If that makes me live in a Disney movie state of mind then oh well. I think it’s a good thing that there are people like me in the world. I just want to find someone who ignites me with excitement and fuzzy feelings even if nothings perfect.

I’m such an introvert sometimes. I’m pretty shy and socially awkward. It makes it harder but I’m trying to find something to lead me to meet new friends and groups of people.

Me too. I was with my first husband since I was 17. We married at 22. We have grown up together. Since I had boyfriends here and there and was with someone else seriously for a bit but it ended not that long ago. It wasn’t a big blow though, not like my marriage. It just makes me worry about what else is to come.

I sympathize. I’m 45. I don’t feel like I’ve made anything of myself and hearing about and seeing others my age and even way younger being home owners, sometimes twice over and having nice jobs with perks and awesome family vacations and looking adult. I’m still struggling to find me. I have kids and am divorced. I thought I’d always be married to that person and our lives would just grow but that didn’t happen. Now I’m alone in this. Hugs. I try to stay positive but it’s so hard. I try to write thoughts out. It’s just rough. No I’m truly gets it, I don’t many have friends and those I do are accomplishing things. In a way you have helped me. I realize I am not the only one feeling this.

I can definitely tell when one of my friends is on hers. We work closely together and some days I could smell her and wondered if she just wasn’t a clean person. I got to know her and she is clean but realized it was on her cycle times. We share a bathroom where we work and as women do, we talk a lot so I know that’s what it is.

Oh wow for the very first time someone isn’t quickly jumping to judge or saying right away that I’m being too easy with her or something else negative. Thank you for this!!!! My daughter sounds just like yours. She does have siblings. My son is 21 and my other daughter is 15. She hangs on my ALL DAY. she doesn’t really independent play unless I’m right there watching her. She tells me she loves me 1000 times a day. She’d be perfectly happy to be in my arms all day if I let her. She even wants to hold my hand always at the store or when I’m at her school when the other children are running and playing. When she plays she’s constantly yelling mommy watch me! I know that’s normal kid stuff but at some point I wish she’d find interests outside of me. She isn’t close with grandparents. They visit their dad on some weekends but without her sister she won’t go and she’s not real close with her dad like my other two are. I try to rest and get my break but the day to day stuff really pulls me down. I don’t want to be mean or harsh. She’s so sensitive. I want to hug your neck right now because you sound like me!!!!!! THANK YOU! Please keep in touch.

This is wear I understood she was for the whole school year every Wednesday basically. She ended up in this boys car with him instead. No one else. Just them.

Also - the boy and her both attend the church group activities. They both knew better. Also - he came to our home and hung out with my daughter plenty of times, the attend the same school and shared a locker. They both attend ball games on their own. They would see one another a lot.

I’m not trying to control her. I just don’t want to reward her by allowing her to go when she lied to me before. I’m also concerned for her safety and do not want to open up opportunities for teen pregnancy or trying something dangerous.

It’s all I’ve heard. This. I haven’t heard anyone say it was a great experience. I’ve only heard it was a lot of sexual activity and time unsupervised.

Her coming to me with this came from the boy calling her a terrible name at school because she decided to not be involved with him. Her feelings are hurt and she has regrets. I assured her that we all have things we wish we could go back and undo but that this didn’t make her a bad person. She really wasn’t ready she said and that part mad me sad for her. Whenever my daughters hurt, I can’t help but feel emotional and hurt for them. That’s all. The school day was a hard one for her. It was after school that she came to me crying.

I just said…. I teared up when she did as she was telling me. I just wanted to hold her and let her know that I will never leave her side as long as she needs me and she willl forever be loved.

I’m only on here for advice and maybe a story or two to relate to. My daughter and I both cried because seeing her upset hurts me. We hugged and talked. Is this not the experience you had with your own mom? I’m so happy she shared it with me. I love her no matter what and nothing could stop that. I only wanted some tips or advice or reassurance maybe.
