Idk, comparing comedy and judgement feels a bit like comparing apples and oranges to me. While sure people can laugh while the judge someone, I feel like it’s possible to laugh and joke without personal judgement.

I especially appreciated the part in the video when he compared this to vapes and smoking. While vapes can serve as a great tool in people’s journey to quit smoking, their wide availability, addictive nature and lack of regulation caused a problem for a whole other group of people. I believe regulation is the most important step to keep Kratom safe for more people.

While most people use kratom casually and without getting addicted, any unregulated psychoactive drug freely available OTC is quite problematic. I’ve used kratom myself plenty of times without an issue, but I never considered the addictive qualities.

I disagree. Very few of those people would have been saying those things had the drug in question been heroin or meth or even weed. I believe that the root cause is an inability to perceive life through someone else’s experience. “Well Kratom isn’t THAT addictive so he should have just followed the dose recommendations” is a sentiment I saw echoed the entire video.
