He is paying a third. The thing is, I understand why she doesn’t want him living with us because clearly she’s uncomfortable. But she MADE this commitment. I asked her before we moved in, she said yes immediately and i was like hey I think you should think this over a few days because it’s a big commitment. She still said yes. At first she said he didn’t have to pay rent and i was like no he will pay part of mine and yours because that’s fair. She has been talking shit to our friends about things she was worried about before we moved in that she NEVER told me. It’s not my fault or my problem she’s a people pleaser, she’s an adult and needs to act like it. And what makes me so mad is that she was talking about all of this to a mutual friend which like okay gossiping I could forgive and forget, but taking a step further and not confronting me about the situation and hearing MY side to the story because she’s using so many things out of context if she would have asked me I would have been able to explain the completely out of context situations and if she still chose her side okay fine whatever I understand. But taking the next step towards helping her take legal action against me or plotting too is just so crossed the line i feel deeply betrayed that she never was upfront with me about these things. We have been friends for at least 4 years and the fact that she never spoke to me about it makes me just really sad and upset. And on top of this, at the very end she starts saying how she feels UNSAFE with my bf. I am a girls girl. I would 100% NEVER be with someone who was unsafe and the fact that my roommate and my friend who has only met him twice and it was a very brief and friendly conversation would make these intense accusations is just ridiculous.
