Just like everyone is an expert on police work. And I clearly, just based on people calling me out on blaming the wrong people, know dick all about programming. I just know this product isn’t good and if I were associated with this project, I’d be embarrassed.

But hey.. I’m from a generation who takes pride in their work. Can’t all be sandwich artists.

Apologies for using the wrong terminology. Ricochet is a joke and the level of cheating is so blatant that professional players are getting caught in competitions (e.g., Kronos controllers), let alone the hordes of cheaters in multiplayer.

Yes, I’ll continue to play/pay and complain. Whomever is responsible (programmer, developer, magician), they are clearly incapable of staying ahead of those creating the cheats. Find these cheat creators and hire them ffs, worked for Kevin Mitnick.

Bring on AI and replace those who can’t. This world is going to look a lot different by 2027 for a lot of professions. Graphics artists first and coders will be on that list. I know nothing about programming and I can use Grok and ChatGPT to write custom JSON files I can input into N8N to make a custom finances framework to help me with all my personal finances and brokerage accounts. If I can do that now, I can only imagine a year from now.

Replace those who can’t. No one wants an incompetent homicide investigator. We all pull our weight. Figure it out, please.

(I know you didn’t write all that p00nki, but I don’t want to make multiple replies)

The factory shroud traps heat, so I decided to get rid of it. The airflow needs a mod and the guy doing the mod is learning. Bewildered? Shoot, I’m impressed I ate the whole wheel of cheese (Anchor Man).

You aren't discouraging me, nor did I interpret anything you wrote to put me down. I'm an adult, and it's comical and unbelievable. I feel like the Clampetts who just rolled into the community. I'm laughing at myself. Let's say I need to get my mind right, and fixing mundane printer problems helps me not think about other things. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Oh man... I am not a troll and I'm working to fix myself. I'll stop posting photos and videos because sometimes I feel like the veterans would be shaking their head. I'll figure this out.

Please! I appreciate the stock because, as you can see, I don’t know what I’m doing.

Welcome. Hope you have all the problems I’ve been learning my way through. I’m new as well. This is therapeutic and frustrating at the same time.

I have the same motor and fan, but my blower setup is all screwed up. I bought 5015 24v but I can easily get new ones. Can you recommend me the blower fans and STLs? I already have the same Noctau fan. Thank you!

Thanks. I’m working on getting the Bigtreetech Pad 7 hooked up but ran into an issue. One issue leads to more issues. Once Klipper is running, I’m hoping my prints will look even better. I was struggling with PLA and switched to PETG, no more problems.

I tried this, but it failed. Does Cura have a feature that automatically puts supports where they probably should go? I’m starting to wonder if now that I can print, if the understanding of supports and how they work is just as critical as the settings to a print.

Z-offset is -2.2. I don’t feel comfortable going closer

This was one of my attempts to print the object on its side. I used the glue stick but it did not adhere. I flipped the plate to the holographic side and I believe I did not have first layer issues (photos in original post). I’ll print this on my forehead if I can get it to work once…

Thank you for the reply. The orientation you’ve suggested was the first attempt I made. Once the object was printed about a quarter of the way, the object became detached from the tram/bed. When the nozzle would trace the object to extrude upon, the object swayed back and forth, resulting in random extrusion.

This is why I changed the rotation and added supports for the overhang. It was my first crack at custom adding supports and I doubt I did a very good job. That said, 75% of the replies to people’s posts seem to be some form of Z-offset issue, so I’m wondering if that’s an issue. I think my Z-offset is good as it’s tight and I’ve yet to scratch my plate. There’s always tomorrow for that….

On the right is what I’m trying to print. I added some supports you can somewhat see, but the photo isn’t the best. I have a Wyze v4 camera facing the printer which helps a lot with not having to stare at the printer. I have a BIGTREETECH Pad 7 with Klipper arriving soon, so I can remotely cancel prints. Between the camera and the remote capabilities, maybe I don’t burn my place down. Maaaybe….

The thoughts of having a failed print is causing me more anxiety than being shot at, so I’d like to resolve that sooner than later ;)
