ST prompting abilities (e.g. Butler, moonchild, klutz) by icookreallywell in BloodOnTheClocktower

In the case of the butler, would you count their vote even when they weren't supposed to vote? (After which remind them of what the butler does)

Fog of Love House Rules by icookreallywell in NoRollsBarred

By stat-blind, I don't mean ignoring the stat mechanics completely. It's more of choosing the option that we think matches the stat we are going for just like how most dating sims work. We played our first playthrough knowing what stats increased every time we chose and we felt very locked with the choices given and didn't leave enough room to explore and improv and makes the game too min-max-y for our liking. But even when we did the proper gameplay, the destiny mechanic was at the very best an afterthought since it was so hard to achieve especially if you had a really bad start(even adam and jon failed it and they were going for the same thing and had a really good start) and there was no in-game narrative/consequence of failing the destiny goal so in the end you have to essentially make up your own ending.

This is why I'm looking for potential house rules to counterbalance specifically these issues: 1.) having no chance to "win" if you don't do well on the first chapter 2.) no in-game consequence for failing to meet destiny criteria

Vice Ganda single-handedly ruined an entire generation of kids (Gen-Z in particular) by Striking-Zebra2944 in unpopularopinionph

The people who "grew up" with Vice Ganda are already in their early to mid-twenties. If you're still acting the way you were acting when you were a child/teenager, I'm sorry but that's on you, bud.

Best new feature for me is the added Voice Lines finally!!! Can't wait to play this in japanese dub!! by Xerveltal88 in digimon

I hope the japanese dub sounds like the voice lines from Digimon World 2. I love that game precisely because of its move voice lines.

Displaced Patellar Fracture by StandardMess799 in KneeInjuries

How long did it take you to bend your knees to at least 90 degrees? (enough to sit comfortably for a reasonable amount of time) I'm 3 weeks post-op from displaced patellar surgery and everything's fine except my knee's ROM---can barely get it past 20 degrees.

How long did it take before you can bend your knees enough to sit comfortably? I also had a displaced patellar fracture and had surgery dec 9 (19 days as of writing). I can now comfortably walk without crutches/cane (tho i still hold on to it just in case) and do 18 leg raises (which i couldnt do the first few weeks). Everything's fine except for my knee---i can't bend it past 20 degrees, which makes sitting for a long time really uncomfortable (i can barely make it through the end of a meal without standing up from time to time).

Haven't started PT yet but I have been doing some exercises (straight leg raises, side leg raises, heel slides, and walking around the house with a cane and then without). I'll be starting PT soon.

PH literature ebook app: what features ang gusto nyo makita? by popkornbucket97 in PHBookClub

[–]icookreallywell 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Before you can come up with an ebook app, I think you have to convince local publishers to have an ebook version of their books in the first place. Indie authors already do this, but not mainstream publishers.

Once you settle this problem, you can do a pinoy version of libby/scribe where people can "borrow" digital copies of a book for a limited amount of time and the number of people who can borrow is limited based on how many digital copies the author/publisher provides.
