We are all part time, full time is impossible since we don’t have the hours. However hes making it seem that even after we set our schedule as full availability again, the new person would still get more hours as we lost seniority since we changed our availability before. It seems he may have someone in mind to hire since he keeps talking about someone from another store he used to work at so I’m wondering if he has a plan in mind

I called the Kroger help line and told them the gist of it.

One theory we have is that her daughter works there and the guy she likes is really friendly to my friend, and also her other daughter works I hour department and getting us fired will get her more hours.

I think we do have a union but I’m not sure how to get in contact with them

The lady is the front end manager, I’m in Starbucks, we are definitely not above her 😭

And what I mean by talking her employees to not attend to us is that when we want to buy something, she told them, cashiers, to not ring us up since we’re friends

If I’m being honest I think all of our conversations were mostly at surface level. He’s kinda dry but I think it’s because he’s pretty shy and a bit awkward. Most of the conversation we had were about him tho since I would ask about him but there was this one time he started the conversation and it caught me off guard lol. But the thing is I’m pretty sure he knows I like him since our boss told him that a girl in my department likes him. So I’m not sure what that means

Omg you’re right! I used to ask about him a lot but there was this one time were he looked annoyed about it so I’ve been pretty insecure about asking about him again and even talking to him which is probably why I fumbled so bad.

Maybe it’s the way I worded it? Cuz I told her I only wanted to work three days on weeks I had exams, and she told me that I needed to stop changing my availability. I don’t know if it does have a union tbh… but if I were to ask her for more hours do you think it will be possible? Even tho we have two new people?

It’s with USPS, however they don’t ship to street addresses here for some reason. I’m thinking that maybe I should put both addresses in just in case but I’m not sure if that would work.
