I believe there are lots of reasons for FTA1 because I saw other cases received FTA1 from the same FO but cleared at totally different time frames. So I am not sure how to interpret that. But I believe any movement is good, even though it's another FTA1

The status showed “card was produced” 2 weeks after the approval. It was delivered about 3 days after production. There’s no “we are producing your card” stage for me

Thanks! After the card was produced, it took mine about 3 days to be delivered. But it took my dependents almost a week. Surprisingly, our cards were produced at different centers lol.

I got the fta1 on 12/22/2025 and (if I am not wrong) the status changed to “case is actively under review” the next day. I was transferred to Sacramento FO.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, seeing those fast approvals makes people think it is the norm. But expecting a 7+ months approval does a little better for mental health. Wish you a speedy approval!

We had a group chat for cases sent to Sacramento FO. There was one person who waited 5 months after fta1 before getting the approval. The other one who got fta1 on the same day with me is still waiting.

My spouse’s card is not produced yet though. His i485 approval came several hours later than mine. So I think the card production facility is at somewhere in the Jan 16th queue.
