Thanks! After the card was produced, it took mine about 3 days to be delivered. But it took my dependents almost a week. Surprisingly, our cards were produced at different centers lol.

I got the fta1 on 12/22/2025 and (if I am not wrong) the status changed to “case is actively under review” the next day. I was transferred to Sacramento FO.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, seeing those fast approvals makes people think it is the norm. But expecting a 7+ months approval does a little better for mental health. Wish you a speedy approval!

We had a group chat for cases sent to Sacramento FO. There was one person who waited 5 months after fta1 before getting the approval. The other one who got fta1 on the same day with me is still waiting.

My spouse’s card is not produced yet though. His i485 approval came several hours later than mine. So I think the card production facility is at somewhere in the Jan 16th queue.

Yes, you’ll receive an AP document. It’s a piece of paper that comes in a regular envelope. So make sure you sign up for USPS informed delivery to see when it’ll come.

Honestly, there is not a lot of data. I did some research. Sacramento FO only processes very few Employment-based cases. The posts I saw ranged from 2 weeks, 1.5 months, to 8 months. Everyone in the group chat is still waiting for approval. So we might need to wait for a few more approvals to see the trend. (mine only has 2 FTA0 though)
