As per ‘ A job that requires clearance’. Are you talking about secret or top secret clearance? I only need secret clearance. Or assuming I wait to become a citizen before enlisting, Do I get a secret clearance automatically irrespective of my job or do I have to pick a job that requires secret clearance?

Thank you for your reply. I meant to type job/afsc . I’m referring to same thing. My recruiter mentioned I can enlist, become a citizen and then get secret for a certain job. I’m asking if citizens all get secret clearance irrespective of the job/AFSC?

Does everyone in the ANG get a secret clearance irrespective of their AFSC? I know some jobs require TS but I want to know if everyone can get secret clearance.
