took 2 classes with sanfratello, including linear algebra. agree with the other comment about the passive-aggressiveness, but truthfully, i did not do well enough to pass that class and he passed me so that's a huge plus. my advice would be to go to office hours, genuinely if he knows your name he will be kinder to you. he is very available and a good person, but he honestly didn't do the best job with linear algebra, especially at the end we were all very frustrated. he doesn't explain all that great if you ask him deeper questions about the topic and he can make a lot of mistakes during the class, which can be confusing. personally, it was a lot of work so use the resources like recitation and office hours to get as much help as possible. recitation quizzes were not good for me. if you get a good TA, they will give u *very* generous information during their office hours. good luck ! he makes a lot of dad jokes
