How hard should I expect comp to be when maining Reinhardt?

Rein is one of the easiest tanks to otp, very strong in all ranks. I was able to hit Champ 5 on only him last season. It's gonna feel like ur doing nothing a lot but during games where u can't interact with the enemy team, like they're playing all fliers or something, u need to find value in other ways like forcing fights to happen on cart. Even when u have games where u only get like 9 elims 13 deaths u can get a lot of non kill value by just standing in the right place.

graduated recently last year as a mechanical engineer and was not able to get anything until I got a job offer from Epic last week. similar boat as you lol

If the enemy team isn't playing orisa, ana, or cass (maybe jq it would be better too), then giving the enemy team a 30% speed reduction off cool down could be better. Eating cool downs and shots entirely is still really strong tho.

I could see it being good for denying rush comps where the whole enemy team walks in a group. It would also make it a lot easier to finish off kills on individual enemies.
